The Nintendo Switch is the hottest console of Black Friday 2019. The original model, new updated model with improved battery life, and Switch Lite models are selling like hotcakes, which is making finding a good deal on Nintendo’s new system hard. That should be no surpirse; Nintendo has regularly pushed strong exclusives and amazing ports to boost the Switch, and 2019 saw great games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Astral Chain, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Pokemon Sword and Shield to keep momentum going. That said, there are a few deals you can get if you still haven’t bought your holiday Switch yet, and you can find the best of them right here.

Nintendo Switch with digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | $300
This Switch bundle was offered in 2018, and on the surface, it’s a pretty good deal. You get the Switch and an awesome game that regularly goes for around $50 these days. However, please note this isn’t the updated Switch with better battery life; it’s the launch model. If you love Mario Kart and aren’t concerned about the longer battery life, this is a solid offer; otherwise, you may be better off just buying the newer model for the same price and waiting for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to go on sale. That said, this bundle has sold out almost everywhere already–at least online. Amazon’s restocked it for Saturday, however, so get it while supplies last.
Nintendo Switch (new model) | $250 (
If you’re looking to buy a Nintendo Switch, this deal might be your best bet. Rakuten is knocking $50 off the price of the new model Switch starting Thanksgiving Day.
Nintendo Switch (new model) with carrying case and charging dock with $90 Kohl’s Cash | $320 (
If you’re not eager to grab Nintendo’s official bundle, we know Kohl’s will have its own bundle that does, in fact, feature the updated Switch with better battery life. For $320, you’ll get the Switch, a carrying case ($20 value), and the popular PowerA Joy-Con Charging Dock ($25 value). The real draw here is that you’ll get $90 Kohl’s Cash to spend in the weeks following Black Friday.
Nintendo Switch Lite with Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield | $230 (
Ebay is bundling the Switch Lite with either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield for $230. You’re saving $30 overall, which makes this the best Switch Lite value right now. You can choose between the gray, yellow, and turquoise Switch Lite models.
Nintendo Switch Lite with $25 gift coupon | $200
Amazon currently has a nice little Switch Lite promotion going. When you buy a Switch Lite at full price (turquoise, yellow, or gray), you’ll get a $25 gift coupon if you use code UUDDLRLRBA. If this sells out, GameStop has a similar deal going, though their gift coupons don’t apply to nearly as many products.
Nintendo Switch (new model) + Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled + 12-month Nintendo Switch Online family subscription | $296 (
Google Shopping has have a rather cool Nintendo Switch bundle. The $296 bundle includes the updated Switch with better battery life, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and a 12-month family membership for Nintendo Switch Online. Even though Crash Team Racing certainly pales in comparison to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, this bundle is better because it has the new Switch model and a $35 subscription to Switch Online.
Nintendo Switch (new model) with Spyro Reignited Trilogy | $300 (
Walmart has a decent Nintendo Switch bundle available right now. You get the upgraded Switch model with better battery life for its regular retail price of $300, but Walmart will throw in Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which normally goes for $40. It’s worth noting that Spyro Reignited Trilogy is discounted to $25 this Black Friday.
Best Black Friday Nintendo Switch accessory deals
Nintendo Switch Joy-Con (L/R) Neon Red/Blue or Gray | $60 (
An extra pair of Joy-Con controllers normally sets you back $80, and even though you get “two” controllers, that’s still pricey. Thankfully, Switch Joy-Cons are on sale for $60 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target this Black Friday.
PowerA wired controllers | $15 (
Like Joy-Cons, Switch Pro controllers are expensive, but there are some reasonable third-party options like PowerA’s lineup of wired controllers. Using the same layout as the Pro controller but with a slightly smaller form factor, PowerA’s wired controllers are pretty darn good and come in three awesome designs: Zelda, Mario, and a Pikachu-yellow Pokemon theme. All three are discounted to $15 at Best Buy.
PowerA Enhanced Wireless Nintendo Switch controllers | $29 (
These PowerA Enhanced wireless Nintendo Switch controllers are good alternatives to Nintendo’s official Pro Controller. They don’t support features like HD Rumble or NFC Amiibo scanning, but they do have two buttons on the back that can be mapped to a face button. This lets you keep your thumbs on the sticks while you’re in the middle of the action.
Poke Ball Plus | $20 (
While the Poke Ball Plus initially launched as an alternative controller for Pokemon: Let’s Go, it will also be compatible with Pokemon Sword and Shield, allowing you to “hold” one of your Pokemon and take it with you on the go (presumably to rack up experience points or earn extra items). However, it won’t function as a controller for Pokemon Sword and Shield the same way it did for Pokemon: Let’s Go. The Poke Ball Plus also comes with Mew, a mythical Pokemon that can be transferred into Pokemon: Let’s Go. The accessory is normally $50, but most major retailers have it for $20 during Black Friday.
Sold out online. Check your local stores.

SanDisk 128GB microSDXC | $15 (

Astro A10 Breath of the Wild-themed Gaming Headset | $35 (
Astro is one of the most popular gaming headset manufacturers. The A10 wired headset for Switch is one of the company’s budget headsets, but it still offers quality audio. GameStop and Amazon have it discounted from $60 to $35. It also happens to be The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild-themed.
