Another patch has hit Destiny 2‘s Season of Dawn, but unlike the one that required Bungie to roll back the game for the first time ever, this one seems pretty low-key. The 18.104.22.168 update makes a couple fixes to Iron Banner and the Eververse store to deal with issues that were annoying some players, but doesn’t carry any major gameplay changes. Its release coincides with the start of the Valentine’s Day-themed Crimson Days event, which is live now and runs until February 18.
Bungie laid out all the details for the patch on its website. The issues concern Triumphs not activating correctly in the Iron Banner, along with an annoying Gambit bug that could reset players’ progress on this season’s grind-heavy Ritual gun, Python. Hotfix 22.214.171.124 squashes a bug that could accidentally reset the “Get Closer” pursuit for Python if you reset your Gambit rank for the season. Anybody who has already hit the Mythic rank on Gambit will have that part of the pursuit completed, even if your progress was previously reset.
The patch also deals with an issue with the Eververse store, which had new emotes for Solar classes appearing at the wrong price. Eververse uses Destiny 2’s Silver currency, which you can purchase with real money, so the price discrepancy was a pretty big issue. Bungie issued refunds and disabled some of those purchases earlier in the season, but those emotes are now back on the market for 500 Silver, or about $5.
Crimson Days is a free event for all players and brings back the Crimson Doubles mode for Crucible. There’s also special themed loot (like a Ghost shell, ornament, Sparrows, and an emote) up for grabs.
