Eagle-eyed fans recently discovered that Ubisoft’s own Ubisoft Connect website showed a March 21, 2021 release date for Rainbow Six Quarantine. However, this date is not correct.
A spokesperson for Ubisoft told IGN that the date is wrong, but the company did not explain how the error cropped up in the first place.
Following a delay, Quarantine is now scheduled to launch sometime between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022, which is during Ubisoft’s 2021-22 financial year. Quarantine was delayed alongside Far Cry 6 due in part to complications related to COVID-19 and working from home. Both games are expected to arrive within the first six months of the FY 2021-22 financial year.
