Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight and I, ZombiePie, am once again honored to be your host this week as we look at a collection of the best creative offerings from the Giant Bomb Community!It is also PAX West this weekend meaning a good portion of teh Giant Bomb staff are away “on assignment.” Down below in the housekeeping items I have a list of panels and streams you might want to consider watching live or waiting for an archive after the fact. Please be aware, League of Heels Presents and 404ing It , though an archive will go up after PAX West has settled down. With that out of the way, let’s jump into the site-related housekeeping!
- Abby and Jan will be host Giant Bomb’s panel and it will be called “Giant Bomb’s Variety Hour with Abby and Jan!” Catch that Sunday from 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- GameSpot’s PAX West Panel will include Michael Higham, Ginny Woo, M.H. Williams, Abby, and Jan and will stream LIVE Sunday 9/1 at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- There have been round the clock reports of the Bombcast not updating on podcast apps and iTunes. Please, use the link to file a formal bug request and the engineers will continue to investigate the matter.
- On Sunday, Sept. 8th, Giant Bomb will be kicking off its Extra Life action with a marathon of The Beatles Rock Band!
- If you missed it, don’t forget to catch the latest episode of the Giant Devcast! This week, the engineer and design team talk about moving Giant Bomb “to the cloud.”

- Going back to a launch day PS1 game isn’t for everyone. But for RioStarwind, and possibly fans of 3D platformers, Jumping Flash holds up a lot better than you might think.
- bonbonetti was in the mood for a racing game, and as such, bought Dirt Rally 2.0. Check out their review and discover why they were disappointed by the total package or lack thereof.
