While everyone gears up for the Independence Day weekend, when your neighbors will be setting off fireworks in their backyard way too early into the morning, you’ll probably need something new to watch on Netflix. You’re not going to be able to sleep anyway, so check out what’s coming out this week along with a few recommendations.
If you’re looking for a new anime to check out, BNA (Brand New Animal) arrives on Tuesday. In this new Netflix original series, Michiru is morphed into a raccoon/human hybrid and must help a wolf/human hybrid inside a specific zone of the city they live in–Anima-City–comprised of all different types of beastmen. The show looks pretty delightful and action-packed from the looks of a recent trailer.
BNA may not be everyone’s cup of tea, though. Luckily, fans of horror will be excited to learn that the Ju-On series arrives on Friday. In Ju-On: Origins, a researcher searches for the home where something horrific happened years prior. Also, there are ghosts that can kill you. You can check out the trailer below, as the first season of Ju-On: Origins looks pretty intense.
