Ubisoft has dropped a massive update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S that addresses a bunch of game-breaking and quest-blocking bugs. The patch notes for Update 1.1.0 are detailed below.
Before the patch, certain quests, world events, and side activities bugged out, resulting in players being unable to complete them and/or losing progress by reloading an earlier save. For example, the A Sword-Shower in Anecastre quest has been fixed so that Aelfgar moves to the required location for the quest to continue. Another example, the Kingdom’s End quest, has been fixed so Guthrum finally leaves the Hamptun Blockade after releasing the prisoners.
One notable addition is support for the Settlement expansion and Yule Festival, a limited-time event replete with several wintry festivities for players to enjoy. It’s unclear how long the Yule Festival will last in-game, but players can expect arrivals just east of the current settlement.
